generally not a fan of aluminum for pleasure boats in this size range---but this really looks good--simple and clean

Looks incredible. Nice job, I see lots of Alum work boats and a couple Sportfish..but never one in this size. Very nice.

Can you fill me in on the Shaft Install, right after the Transmission. Kinda looks like Shaft Saver or Dampening Coupling and then a rigid mount to the hull with a bearing? Am I seeing it wrong? Benefits?

Thanks,
Carl

Gert.....very very nice.....infact, incredable

Like Carl said I am wondering who makes the thrust bearing setup?

And the Strut/Rudder port install really got me going...love it! ! !

Were all of the stringers and panels designed and CNC cut out? Looks like the deck was slotted for plug welding back to the frames.

Thats a good looking boat....you should be proud.

You're a pretty amazing guy....not many can just "whip up a center console" and have it come out like that ..... you are a true craftsman !!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the nice words.

Sim , the stuff you see behind the gearbox is an homokinetic shaft fitted on a thrust bearing.

advantage is that all the trust is put to the bearing and not to the enigne , this will keep the alIngment always a 100%.
You can imagine that all the thrust from the propshaft lifts the back off the engine and will put it out of centre.
With this confuguration there will be less vibration and noise.
