The rail that Danny will send you is actually the one for the '46...
It'll work, but for the best look, mount it upside down so the the angle is up.
The one that
Alex Whitcar and I designed, has an angle both top and bottom like the original.

I would like to replace and upgrade the rail on my 26. I think hightide
prebends the bow and quarters. I was under the impression you cannot
bend it yourself. Are there any other options

on a 25 we put a easy to get and bend taco rail with stainless insert, standard 9613 type rail.
I have the boat the shop right now for some other work I can take some pics for you later in the week

One thing to be aware of with the High Tide rub rail is that they come with two types of stainless caps ... One is a solid piece of stainless with a concave outer surface. The less expensive alternative is a shaped piece of stainless approx 1/16" thick that is prone to denting.
I went with the less expensive and will end up switching out to the solid stainless cap.

the rail itself supports the stainless, if the stainless has become dented you usually took a pretty good hit.
99% of the inserts are hollow back, and only after a decent hit do they dent.
Price is a huge factor, hollow back listing for about $50 a 12' section versus over $160 for a 12 footer.
