New tank

After reading all the horror stories , I decided to yank out the old tank.
Damn that was glued well to the bottom , by putting it under the crane
I starting the hoist the boat came so high out the water that I could see the props
Stepped with two big guys on the swim platform, started jumping , lot of noise and there she was.
I am glad I did it , because looking in to the tank learned me that the gelcoat was dissolving..
It was also a good opportunity to take the rudder posts out and make a rudder table and repaint the whole bunch .

It's a shame that something that was so well made has to be scrapped for something as foolish as burning corn......

It's not a shame, it's a crime--premeditated and perfectly executed. Not only the big ticket items like the Bertram situation, but every chain saw, lawn mower, weed eater, etc. that is useless after a year or two--"well, they just don't make them like they used to". Isn't it time for the biggest class action in history?
