Outstanding work, Spencer. What have you got under those oversized engine boxes, Cats? Keep up the good work!

Spencer,
Great job on the boat, it's come a long way since I first saw it a few years ago. It's amazing what a lot of money, thought, grinding and sanding and preseverance can accomplish. What power are you going to put in 270 reman Cummins or 315 Yanmars?. Again a great job, I didn't know you were an ortho doctor, do you do knees?

Thanks for all the encouraging comments. This Februrary will be 2 years since I started  rebuilding the boat.  I had Bruce and Pete Fallon look at the boat when it was shipped from Alabama to Florida.Bruce told me straight from the start it would cost less to buy a boat already done , and he was.  However the slower process of rebuilding the boat allowed me to build the boat the way i want, right or wrong.Pete for motors I am stilll up in the air, either of the options listed would be great.  I am keeping my eyes open for any good deals on running take outs with low hours or new. I work on teeth(orthodontist) so wont be able to help out with the knees.  I am at the point were I need to start the wiring of the boat ,so any recommendations would be great , the boat will be going back to murells in a month.  I was hoping to have Bruce, oversee-install but I have not been able to get in touch with him.Tommy, the engine boxes are Cabrerra, along with the deck and fish boxes, he has been great to work with, and due to the economy he is willing to negotiate his price. Will keep sending pictures as they come

you have come up with a unique design with the use of teak in the cockpit in place of cushion coaming. i love the idea of bringing the teak into the pillow area and rear bulkhead. great job, positive inovations!
