As I sit and watch the news this AM ..... I say God Bless and ask for comfort for those that lost loved ones 10 years ago.
May our prayers help to comfort them today and always.
This is the day that taught me how to cry.
Patrick ... thank you for your picture on the site today.

Tough day for a lot of people. An old co-worker of mine was in the towers. Nicest guy you would ever want to meet. Like many, he never desreved to go that way.

To all those that lost friends and loved ones, may they all be remembered forever.

As a few of you know...I worked in the towers and was one of the masses that you saw on the news running panicked in the streets that morning. When I see pictures of the day, they PALE in comparison to the visions etched in my memory. Believe me !!
I know 3 guys that were victims (2 from Marsh Maclennan & 1 a NYC fireman) ... none of them were 35 yrs old.
I listened to the names for a while and then went out for a slow boat ride to get away from the TV.
"Never Forget" .... has a special message to me.
Be well guys !!

I thought about all of them last night as I was grilling burgers on the boat. It was a quiet beautiful night that was in stark contrast to that day!!

I made a pot of coffee, took Kona onto the sand and let him run off leash and chase the seagulls, waves were gently hitting the beach, and I remembered as it was yesterday.

Life moves on, but we will never forget.

Beautiful picture, Cappy!
