I'm sad to report that my friend, client, and the long time harbormaster at Port Eads, Jeffery M. "Buzzy" Scarabin, Sr. die over the weekend. Buzzy ran the Port Eads Marina for some 25 years. He was 69.

His remains will be scattered at Port Eads.

Buzzy made the place what it was. Passing of an era. RIP

R.I.P. Buzzy. He was quite a guy and no doubt, one of a kind. He definitely brought humor and quite a bit of color to that small corner of the planet. He will be missed.

To twist an old phrase...

A friend of a friend is my friend...
