I saw a shrimp boat one time that had the wheel house aero (or hydro) dynamics of a brick. The name of the boat was "Breaking Wind." The name seemed apt.

I always wanted to name one "Cynical". Didn't want to offend Neptune with a change tho.

A client's friend in West Palm had a 28 CC named Camel Toe

The funniest one was "Unsinkable".

I say that because as I was tooling by in a canal to deliver a boat back home, thats all I saw of the bridge sign boards. The rest was underwater.

There was a bigger Ocean Yacht named Flexible Flyer around here for years. That name too seemed fitting.

Years ago at the mouth of Marblehead harbor(very prim & proper you know) was a derilect sailboat a homemade eyesore named Who Farted, if was there for years, it was one of 1st boats you saw coming into the harbor.

I don't have a picture of it, but one of may favourites is "Fog Ducker" for the obvious double entendre of being on a boat and not at work!

One of my friends, I've known him most of my life is named Brooke Tyler IV. In otherwords, he is Brooke the fourth.

His boat is named IV Play.

His wife hates calling ahead for slip reservations...

However, it is absolutely perfect.

Another friends boat we collectively named M.I.L.F. and he would actually answer to that when we hailed him on the radio.

For those of you who may be wondering what the initials stood for, it was really as simple as "Man I Love Fishing!"

Many years ago I saw a boat named "Fujimo", owned by a local guy, which I thought was a reference to a Japanese mountain or some such thing, but I knew the owner wasn't Japanese. I mentioned this to a guy who knew the owner and he explained the name...

Apparently the owner's wife was unhappy with the guy's insistance on buying the boat, and this being the last straw in their turbulent marriage filed for divorce.. The name actually stood for...

Well the absolute best one I've seen in my opinion was a Sportfisher name "Money Eater" . I think that says it all.

Then there was one like IRGuy mention above but the meaning was translated different by this owner, was "FUGIMO" , stood for "F*** You Jack I'm Moving On" .

To go along with Capt. Pat's song, years ago, my friend, god rest his sole, named his 31 Bertram, Pussy Cat. He wanted to leave off the last part of name but figured he would never get away with it.

We had a had one in the yard the was lickalotapuss with an octopuss over it. He was a young lucky sperm club member.

Another classic that always gets the what does it stand for- BOHICA.

Another in Orange Beach named "Ophelianibble"......I'm guessing the guys wife may have been named Ophelia???

A local guy named his boat "Whars Jane". Jo Ann and I laugh and argue about the way the name may have came about......I say that when he was ready to go fishing he always had to wait on Jane...Hence "Whars Jane". Jo Ann says that when he gets back from fishing and needing to clean the boat and the catch he is always saying "Whars Jane".......depends on ones point of view

Come on I had the old snip snip after my third child and still named my first real boat a (B31 FBC) "Proud Cut" boy did that piss of my second and third wife's.

FYI A "Proud Cut" horse is one who used to sire the colts then got to old so they cut him but he still likes to get on top and give it the ol college try.

I really thought we would see some good old boy names from the South, but so far the East Coast is looking like a bright spot for "Stupid Name Calling" I am headed out for the local Yacht Basins to collect evidnce that will (I hope)prove once and for all that South has dumer names than any where else in this Boat Crazy Country.

One of my good friends has the last name of Tarr, his older brother had a boat he christened the "Tarrtanic", a good play I thought.

A subsequent boat he owned carried the apt moniker of "Wallet Buster", always brought a smile when seen for the first time.

A local gynecologist had a sailboat name "Papman" that had a Batman like symbol on the sail that was the silhouette of the anterior end of a woman in stirrups.
