Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member on the forum.
Just bought SC31's 1976 boat last week. We actually owned this hull back in the mid 90's for a few years when it was still a big block gasser, now she sports 315 Yanmars.
Back then we were contemplating a diesel repower but found a 35' Bertram with 300 Cummins already installed and figgured bigger would be better. Not so much.
So here we are back with the hull we wanted with the power we wanted, almost 2 decades later.
Ain't life grand?

Donnie,

Welcome aboard. I had the same power package in mine for 10 years, and I consider it the perfect mate between boat and power. I had 2:1 gears and 20X23.5 four blade props.....how 'bout you?

Yes Bill it's the boat Bobby just finished. We left him our stripped hull there in partial trade.
