Last time I shipped a pair of engines to someone transversing the canal and blew em both up I used DHL.

All I did was drop em off at the facility in Delray.

Spencer,

We sent our boat to Golfito, CR via dockwise. Most boats go that way to Panama get dropped off by dockwise in Golfito and then run down. Would have to leave your tailor behind on that one. It is a float on. Dockwise is also called yachtpath and leave from Port Everglades.

If you do it let me know, our capt is the one who off loads the boats.

If it will fit in a 40' shipping container, that's the way to go....TSL ships whole B31s from FL to Panama in a container via any of several scheduled ocean carriers.

I don't know the company, but someone barges it to Puerto Llimon in CR and you can trailor it down but it is a hike.

I believe you can barge port Canaveral to Colon in Panama. Not 100% sure sorry.

Wingbridge shipping breakbulk, or on a flatrack container via any container shipper.

I recommend "Thumbs up" idea and go with Yachtpath to Golfito and then personally bring it down to panama. Take some 5 days to do it and enjoy some of the best views and fishing you will ever see in this part of the world. The fishing through Coiba, Cebaco, Punta Mala is fantastic!

There used to be a pretty tough prison on Coiba in the old days.I don't know if it is still used.I will second the beauty of all of coastal Panama, Colombia and Costa Rica.

Was there in coiba a couple of years ago. When we arived the guys (prisoners) came and picked up our bags to bring them to the boat. Our pilot told us they were prisioners there for life, I asked him dont they try to escape, he said last time someone tried when the prisoners woke up for the day they guys that tried to escape had there heads cut off and put on posts for everyone to see.
