Board use question...

Capt. Pat or other savy computer guys...
Whenever I go into a thread that has new posts, and return to the index, I lose the ability to tell what other threads have new posts (the little black arrow thingy disappears on those threads)
Anyway to make those thread remain marked as so until I go into them?
