Thanks guys. I bought it from a guy in Southampton. He was the second owner (bought it for his son) and had owned for 3 yrs. He only used one year and then put in a barn to pull the fuel tank. His son got a job as a mate outta Shinnecock and the boat sat unused. I bought from him in a deal where he installed the new aluminum fuel tank and put down a glassed marine ply floor (wish I had known about COOSA back then). Boat is VERY original and very simple. Suits my needs for down here, because no long runs needed to fish or hang out. It's taken a long time, but I have finally learned that simple is better with boats. Gas Crusaders, minimal electronics and it sits behind my house. I am about midway between Port Everglades and Hillsborough inlets (1/2 mile north of Commercial Blvd. bridge on the ICW) and tend to use Hillsborough more. I have a small Whaler that I run a lot more than the 31. No crew needed and a lot less fuel, but I love the Bahia.

Unfortunately you are going to have to Gelcoat your house Fighting Lady Yellow. Then it will look perfect...

Cool...your ride was clean when ya got it, just needed a tank.
My two favorite models are the Bahia and FBC. Iwent with aluminum tank, because my deal included the tank and there was NO WAY the seller was gonna step up to a new fiberglass tank.
Aside from that .... name will be on shortly and thanks for the comments guys ...
Like all of ours, she's and old classic .... some of yours are pristine, mine is in decent, not perfect, but enjoyable condition and FLA allows me to be on the water yr around. :-D

Hey Bertramp, it looks great. If I can figure out the picture posting thing, I'll post a picture of my not so original Italian 1968 Bahia Mar.

bottom is green
boot stripe is black
stripe at window level is black

blue bottom paint looks good with Fighting Lady too, but the boat came with the green bimini
