Bruce,do you know good mechanic in the fort Lauderdale area. A friend of mines son has a hatters with with GM 671's. he has been told the it has a bad valve. he has a replacement head and needs mech to replace it. thanks Russ

If you need another option from Russ's check out Carvers up in Point Pleasant. They worked on JP's boat and JJ's boat aka the Hound.
I know John thinks highly of them. When John did my repower, he told me that if I don't use him to go up to Carvers. Carvers is a full service Marina so they can do the glass work, paint etc.

Sorry but a lot has changed in the year I've been gone and most of the independant good guys split.
I've heard Sun Power Diesel can be good but have no direct experience.
Wish I could help you more.
