deck pipe problem and Billy DeLa Garza sighting

Post by Tom »

I've searched the world over and I'll be damned if I can't find a deck pipe cover for my existing rope pipe. The wife thinks the duct tape is tacky. Bitch.

Its got a 5 inch flange, and a 2.5" ID. I've tried the usual google with no joy. Anyone got an idea?

Also saw "El Presidente" from afar recently. He was up front and personal at the Jerry Jeff Walker concert in Galveston New Years day. Looked good but he was behind the security barrier and common folk aren't tolerated there.-Tom

Thanks Mike, that's the kind of stuff I can find. Need a 5 inch round flange though. Might just have to upgrade to Gorilla tape as Randall says.

Coolair, JJW is showing his age but still has his voice. The Opera house is a great venue though. Billy is always in control, never hammered. I keep my pos hatteras behind my camp in Tiki. -Tom

Senor Tomas....I be'z holding a stainless deck pipe in my hand with a spring loaded cover....the flange is oval, 5-5/8 x 4-3/8. The pipe that goes thru the deck is oval, 4 x 2-3/4. I bought it on eBay for my B20 but never installed it. Its used but perfect. If you think it might work, let me know & I'll send you pix.

I'll be headed that way soon as I uncover my pot plants and flowers, hang a ceiling fan, and load my dog. Should be by 1 this p.m. Is that your 31 on the left past the stop sign in a double slip?
