Saying good bye to the Eliana

Well the time has come to sell our beloved 1980 '31 "Eliana" she has been good to us for 15 years; we are moving up to a 33' Bert. Before I put her up for sale I thought I would let everyone on this site know. You guys have been a lot of fun not to mention a great source of knowledge. My hat goes off to all.
I guess I'll sell her as a project boat being the port engine needs a head gasket. I replaced the STB engine 2 years ago with a zero hr rebuild (they are cummins 504's); she also needs a deck. The rest of her is original. I am open to suggestions as far as price but I would sure like to keep her as my project boat.( you can see how torn I am).

Skip the 33 and get a 35B. Better layout all around.

Thanks for the advice Charlie. I toyed with the idea of a 35 but for the price I'm into the 33 and the way she performed it's cheaper than a re-power on the Eliana.

Tony,

Don't mind CB, its a jersey thing.

Congrats on you selection of a 33 for your next boat. If you haven't already done so, you should check out bertram33.com. Lots of owners with first hand knowledge of the 33's.

Good luck.

Thank you Doug she is sweet. I have been on the site and it looks great, all I can say is I hope it can come close to what this site has been for me.
