wiring diagrams and collor codes

is there anybody out there that can provide me with the wiring diagram and the color code layout for the 1962 31 F B . i am currently in the starting phase of reworking my old boat and want to build new harnesses and rework the old square d panel that it originally used . any ideas or advise would be greatly appreciated jim hartman new bern N C

Jim,
You replacing all the wiring or just repairing as needed?

If your replaceing then you can do as you want.

The only real color codes would be for the engines.

Standard for house would be red/black for dc and green/white/black for ac.

Blue is oil pressure.
tan for water temp.
gray for tach
black for ground
red for dc feed
yellow/red stripe for start circuit
purple for ignition feed

Alarm circuits I've seen a few colors but are usualy brown/white stripe or tan/white stripe.

A good part of the old bertram dc wiring was just white everywhere. Some had numbers, some did not.
