Pair of Steyrs

This pair seems like a pretty good deal. If you are running ZF 63 gears and wanting to make the switch here is your chance. Integrated Flywheel generator is not cheap either. I am sure Bruce can verify this. Wish I had them.

I like the idea of the integrated flywheel generator!

I've never heard of the integrated flywheel generator. With this setup, do you just leave the engine running at idle whenever you need power. I wonder what the fuel burn is per hour while at idle? If it's not substantially more than a typical generator, this could be a great setup.

A little bit of research shows that he paid $28k for the pair to a seller in St. Augustine in late June. Just sayin'......

In good days those were worth 26k each.

BTW that gen is DC output not AC. Its made to charge batteries for inverters.

I did not realize that. I posted when they were for sale in St Augustine too! Can't believe they sold for 28. That is a steal. So someone got a great deal and is trying to flip them. Wish I had the money!

You will not be disappointed with your purchase. You are ahead of the game with money you have invested in your power. If you ever have any questions just let me know. I will, however, not be of much use because the only thing I have done with them is change the oil.
