snapfish's way of collecting data base info so that they can sell your email address. Got plenty of spam comin' in already without swallowin' their hook too...

Notice that photobucket doesn't stoop to that practice.

Patrick,
Yeah you are right. But it was worth it.

I was almost thinking of grabbing the final pic and posting it up. It's really nice, I'd like to go by and see the work in progress. Is that possible? I'm here in Palm Beach County.

Won't do it. Tired of the crap giving away my name gets me. I may be sorry in this case but I've had to draw a line somewhere.

teak transom

the guy I got to do this is Eric an ex Merritt carpenter that figured out how to install a transom on a large boat in one piece. They know do the same process on the 82 footer. Mine was a single piece of teak 2 1/2 x8 x12ft, resawed into 3 pieces matchmarked grain edge glued on the bench and set on a coosa board ledger

Beautiful, very nice indeed. That's for posting the shots of the entire process.

Makes me wish my 25 did not have that stupid looking bubble on the transom :( Probably for the better, I would spend months trying to build that!

I tried to give them my email address and snapfish still will not let me in. Can anyone figure out how to post some of these pictures on the site?

Thanks

JR

Beautiful! I hope it isn't heresy to say "Better than new?"

It is a thing of beauty!

Questions please...

How was the end grain of the teak treated?

What is the teak finish schedule? (What materials, how many coats, what grit for sanding. etc, etc, etc?)
