With all the new electronics these days I would like to know what is the best fuel tank (diesel) sender these days. I need one which can just read level from an irregularly shaped tank. I have a good gauge, I just need a good sender for it.
I did a search here and see that a couple of years ago ISSPRO was the favored mfg.. any changes?

i have an isspro per recommendations on the board but seem to have a problem calibrating it----there are two adjustment screws one for empty and one for full---but still can't get it right.

Craig,
I had the very same thing happen to me when I put in a new tank. I finally got it right after about three tries. Now it matches my digital fuel gauge on my Navman flow sytem.

if it was installed with the tank it comes set for empty, you then fill the boat and set the full setting without touching the empty setting.
You may have to tweak it a tiny bit to your liking.
If it is the sender that came with your tank it is a Livorsi sender but it is the same method. I have seen 3 different makes of those tube style senders and I am pretty sure they are all actually made by one company
