2010 NC Rendevous - Morehead City, NC

Post by wlbsr »

Some pictures from the NC Rendevous on June 4 in Morehead City, NC. There were 8 or 9 31's, a couple of 28's, a couple of 25's and a couple of 20's. A great day on the water between Morehead City and Harker's Island, NC. Thanks to Lin Spears and the Williams and Maxwell Families.

Wlbsr,

Thanks for posting those great photos. It's almost sensory overload looking at that many beautiful boats in one picture. Feel free to post more.

As usual, Lin Spears (steward of Rapscallion) did a great job putting this event together; and the Williams and Maxwell families were great hosts for Friday evening and Saturday. Alton Herndon (new president of Bertram Yachts) and his wife Drew joined us on Saturday as well. Great boats, great people, and great venues for the events (and they even let me join in although I no longer own a 31).

Tommy,
Bertram owner or not at the moment, you've been inducted into the Bertram 31 hall of Fame here and are entitled to attend all 31 events if for anything else just being one hell of a nice guy.

Bruce,
I second that about Tommy. He still owns a 20' sportsman and I believe he is our unofficial historian.
