Front fiberglass wraps

Post by scot »

I'm considering a glass front wrap for my 25. Did the 31 ever come that way or,... are they all conversions? Has Capt Patrick ever written anything on this process...I did see his article on the glass work to the side windows.

In my opinion they make for an extremely sharp looking Bertram.

Scot-

The B31s all came with the front windows w/aluminum frames as far as I know. The wraps are all after market--Bill Holmes in Jupiter, FL. makes a solid insert that replaces the whole windshield assembly, and a couple of outfits (don't know whow) make a 'glass overlay where you leave the windshield in place and just cover it up. There is something Cap. Pat wrote about it and the different alternatives. If you can't find it (maybe in the building tips section?) and want it, let me know and I can fax what I have to you-- I'm sure I printed it out.
