Enjoying my temp retirement.

Not really a play or opera person. In fact I've always told my wife if I wanted to hear a screaming fat lady with horns, I'd go to her mothers house.

My snow bird relatives bought 6 tickets, which turned out to be 2nd row orchestra right in front of the front house speaker system to see this thing.

Turns out its the story of Frankie Vali, you know walk like a man, sing like a girl Frankie.

I'd say if you have the chance to go, it was very good. If you have prescription medication like me, its even better.

Plays can be good, I have enjoyed several...Opera on the other hand...

Wifes old boss being on the Met Opera board felt very strongly everyone should go at least once...so strongly he gave us his seats for an opening performance. Said it would be something I'd remember for the rest of my life...I have to say he was right, I've tried to forget that night but it still haunts me. The one good thing, they had a bar...

For anyone who might be interested...the translation of the word "OPERA" is Death by Music.
