Can anyone recommend someone on eastern Long Island (Shelter Island) that can blast the old bottom paint off?
Thanks in advance?

fyi in Florida they soda blast, not sandblast, once upon a time many moons ago we use to only sandblast, I'm not sure if it's the abrasion issue or tree huggers

Sodablasting is kinder to your hull as I understand it. Bill, can you bring your boat to Three Mile Harbor or are you looking for a service that will come out your way? Walter

I saw a guy doing blasting at sag harbor yacht yard last summer. It was a mobile truck and I thought I wrote the number down, but the number I have in my phone is 305-218-6787.

They all seem to be mobile. I'll ask at 3 Mile Harbor Boat Yard where I last saw them working.

robbie i never mention that about the plastic media actually the plastic leftovers from the manufacturing of buttoms. the blast is so gentle it never harm the " gel-cote" under the factory paint on the corvette which is super thin and if you break thru the fuzz comes out ---bad situation.that has to be the best for a bertram glad you brought this out i had many done in the past.
