Hull #s in our signatures

I had mentioned before, but would like to do a formal request for folks to include their hull nimbers in their signature on the site. It could prove as a great reference for changes that took place over the years of manufacture and a source to potentially ask the guy with the boat after yours a specific question. To me it's a great referrence, hopefully others will agree.
OK ... I'm stepping down from the soap box now

To answer your request mine is Hull 186 an Express Cruiser (12-13-61) the 85th Bertram built. Ask me any thing about the boat, if I don't know the answer I'll find somebody that do! I've redone almost every system on the boat at least once in the past 32 years of ownership.

The number I have for my 31. is "314 49 1103" I'm not positive of the validity of the #. My registration is listed as 1971 and has no Hull ID # and it's been so long, I forget where I got that # from.
It's written down on an inspection report with 100's of other spec's and part #'s in my owners manuel.
My 1994 28FBC # is "BERF2720L394"

On my registration it says my year is 1966, but I have found three different numbers in my hull, 31-382, 31-383, 31-384. Based on any of those numbers, Bertram says it's probably 1964 or early 1965.

Assuming they used parts made in different years and marked them as such, I would go with the number that represents the newest part otherwise it never would have made it into the boat. So based on that theory I would say 1965 is your best bet.

Bob .. Is your number stamped in the transom ?

Hi, the only number I found on my boat was inside one of the engine covers when the insulation was replaced. The number was 664. Does that sound right for a 1968 Bahia Mar? If that seems right, I guess it would be 316-664. Any other ideas on where to find the numbers on a Bahia Mar?

I just looked at Steve's (Bertramp's) 31 Bahia Mar and saw the placard inside the transom. Mine doesn't have anything there, just the number 664 inside one of the engine boxes. Does anyone think that number would sound sequentially correct for a 1968 model year :?:
