Marine Supplier Q:

My local supplier for Buck Algoquin has closed their doors. I have contacted Buck directly for a couple of price checks and their counter sales prices are REALLY high compaired to buying through one of their distributors.

>i.e. Buck Algoquin stuff is cheaper through a marine supply company than buying from them direct.

I need to find a marine supply house that will sell me B.A. stuff by part numbers and ship.

Any suggestions?

Matt,

I have "attempted" to do business with AER but they just won't sell retail.

I will put a list together and get back to you. Thanks for the help.

nope, to do retail you have to go the guys next door, lake wood yacht services i think. but thats full list price for the most part. When i went to buy alumiprep and called black water and they wanted like 100 bucks a gallon, i called AER and got it for like 40. Donavan marine supply is good too, they usualy have stuff in stock, but man they are major D*cks
if your name isnt on the account you cant use it. wont even give you a price.

Scott-

Try these. They all carry Buck Algonquin. I have used all except yacht supply depot. Just bought a bunch of stuff from Hamilton recently (seacocks and hardware for 2 boats.) and they were good to deal with.
