an article in this morning's Baton Rouge newspaper begins: "A 52-year-old Pitkin woman pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of sale of a minor in conntection with allegations she traded two children to an Evangeline Parish couple in exchange for a cockatoo and $175."

So she wanted a "Cockatoo"....Depends on her definition of a Cockatoo........that may be where her problem started.....not sure about the $175.00

I think there is a mis spelling. Take the the a out and replace with or, it makes sense then.
