If I were to replace gas engines in a B31 with Yanmar 315's, what would the approximate cost be?

Timmy,

Turn key, professionally installed, with running gear upgrades & tank conversion from gas to diesel, in the neighorhood of $70K... The price spread, depending on location, yard cost, and initial condition of the boat will be between $60K - $80K.

Mike,
When I was out in July, Perry Pats neighbor had his calf get loose from the pen.

Pat, I and Perry were fixin to round it up when that calf done got a look at Pat in his boots, hat and the barbeque rib look in his eye and headed straight for that pen. Practically ran over Perry tryin to get in the pen.

Perry never seen such a thing.

There's magic in that hat.

Pats been looking for calf he can ride also, ain't that right Captain?

Timmy,

The motors/tranny alone are $23k+ so I think you'd be on the higher side to have a yard do all the work. Do some your self and you can save a little. The cummins are cheaper at about $18k+ per for 330's but not as fast as yanmars. There's lots of ways to skin th Diesel cat

Capt Patrick are you going native, I mean country on us?? At least you've got the color of the hat right.

Yeahaw...

Patrick,
When you get off the plane in PBI you'll blend in with all the Blue Hairs showing up for the summer season. Better look out one of those rich widows may want to take you home.

See ya soon,

Russ...I lived in Jensen Beach for a year going to F.I.T, Blue hairs is right! To this day I have never seen that many people over the age of 95 concentrated in one spot and all still driving. I never realized that Cadillac had actually built that many cars...all with northeastern plates. If I still lived there I would find a way to get in the health care business.
