OK i know this has probably been asked and posted.
But what model is this. I know the original race boat was like a 36, and of course the scale models

Thats a 31 Special...Think they made a few of them in the late 60's or early 70's. They were competing against 36 Cigarettes. The cig's were spankin em. Really different lifting strakes on that hull... like the Baron 28.

Original Bertram race boat was the 31 hull you know and love. Heres a link to a thread a while back with alot of good Bertram racing stuff. The vid is cool.

I don't know what the world may want,
But a good stiff drink it surely dont,
Think I'll go and fix myself...a tall one.

Ya thats the goal. get it ready for summer, just read that they might increase our red snapper limit this year. but looks like it might just be for commercial guys which is total BS
Thanks
