Fogging motors ?

?? Fogged my engines yesterday for winterization using Star Brite fogging oil and realized that there was no smoke coming out of exhaust when I sprayed into carbs. . I have used other brands in the past and had smoke pouring out. Is this normal for Star Brite fogging oil not to smoke when sprayed. engines bogged down and still no smoke. Called Starbrite customer service and they were clueless, they did not know if it should smoke or not? Sprayed about half a can in each engine. Do you think motors are fogged? should I rewinterize motors?
Thanks Mike

I am still using the old tried and true Marvel mystery oil down the carb until you stall the engine at high idle. I am careful not to hydrolock them. It does smoke a lot and I get some comfort from that. Is it better than Starbrite? I don't know, but it has worked since 1966 when the boat was new, so I am going to keep doing it!!

To early to talk about winterization or what ever that is.
60 deg sunny no wind and time for a boat ride
PS I use trans fluid. GM engines will not get upset w/ Ford ATF.
