I used the above company for chrome plating at the urging of several northeast faithful about six years ago. They did a great job at a reasonable price. I have not heard of anyone using them lately and was curious if they are still in business. I think they were in Hawthorne, NJ and would appreciate any contact information and current quality of work. Thanks.

They did some work for me during the spring. Still do first class work. Told me two weeks. Called me within a week to tell me the work was done.

They have been at the same address for years.

Tony,
Thanks for the feedback. Once the boat is on the hill, I will remove the balance of the parts to be plated and get them off to them. Glad to hear that they are still doing first class work.

I've used Nassau Chrome several times.
Never any complaints, fair pricing.
The owners used to own a B31 before moving into a larger Viking.

They did two boxes full of stuff for me this winter. All the cleats, chocks and vents on a gas boat. Also through in a faucet and bunch of hinges.

$750 total.

quality work on time... owner didn't seem overly excited about the project but maybe he just didn't have much of a personality.

I'd use them again.

Mike

I just think that is his personality. When I dropped my stuff off, all he said was "off a boat huh, call me in two weeks." But he called me first. I don't think he is hurting for business. He has a reputation for doing quality work.

The Guy who did the parts 6 years ago retired and sold the business to his partner

The guy lived to Brick NJ near all the boats and had a 35 footer in his back yard on the Metaconk River. I used to drop the parts at his house and he would bring them home with him.

I guess the partner is not a boater
