Fuel Hose size Cummins

I am in the process of my Cummins 4BT to B28 project.

I have noticed the fuel line barb that goes into the fuel lift pump is a different size on each engine. One is a 3/8 and the other is smaller like 1/4 or 5/16...not sure but NOTICEABLY smaller.

I was planning to make BOTH 3/8.

Is 3/8 OK?

3/8 is just fine on those 4BT's.
