And true.....after our incredible run of shrimp last week things seemed to have calmed down on the Tickfaw River.....that is, until Sat. morning when I meandered out on my dock, coffee in one hand and untralight spinning rod with sac a lait jig in the other....first cast, a bass....second cast a striped bass, thrid a bass......and on every damn cast for at least an hour & a half.....probably 150-200 fish ranging from little dudes to hogs.....all c&r......I finally played out and had to go inside to some a/c....yesterday morning same thing but not quite a rapid......guess the fish chased the shrimp up in the river and stayed there......never seen anything like it in fresh water.
