Thanks guys.

Real special trip for me. A friend we used to fish with back in the day (this cat got me my first job) came out to visit. We fished old school tuna with one Blue Marlin bait.

Caught a tuna and low and behold the Wide Range goes off, I'm yelling at Rob "No man you want to catch that one, get in the chair!!!" long video short, my partner got to catch his first blue one.

After the blue one we went "pluggin" 8.2 kts and med to large singles. Missed a spearfish "buckwheat" and a rat white "mini 1656". Neat stuff. Never seen a boat raise billfish like this thing.

DQ,

We have white cups, they were flowin pretty good at the end of that trip.

Bob,
Sorry for the late reply was. Hope you got a chance to fish Monday and Tuesday.
Not sure it helps today but we fished Tom's.

We White Marlin fished the week after this trip south a little bit of this spot and we saw 4 got 3 to bite and caught 2 and ended with another medium yellowfin (60lbs).

JP, We did get out monday tuesday, went east of veaches, 77 degree water fished a 5 degree break. Caught 8 huge mahi to 17 lbs, five yellows, 42 lb plug, 45 lb plug, and 57 lb plug, trolling in the warm stuff caught a nice 65lb wahoo and one small wahoo. For laughs I put out a shark rig off the bow during the night chunk, about 2 in the a.m. hooked a HUGE tiger shark...two and a half hours later, and four times to the boat, and after breaking every back brace on the boat we lost em. Or should I say he was done playn with us . Boat has a 14' beam and it was just a bit shy of that. That was FUN.
