I have a 1976 31'Bertram F/B with a half tower.I want to install a boat lift
and need to know the approx. dry weight.
Any information on this vessel would be greatly appreciated.

do you have diesel or gas, if diesel what type? My 75 FBC with gas is approximatly 12,000

Michael,
Avg weight is around 12,000 - 13,000 with gear and fuel. You need to install a 18,000 lb capacity lift to give you the acceptable safety margin.

Andre; I would also like some pics. What have you at the stern and forward for keel support. I can see your bunk pads are much longer and sit out futher to the last strake. Email of post I will copy.

Chris,
I have two 16' pads , right under outside stringers, pre-cut at 23 degrees. They stick out forward but not past the transome in the rear. The pads are mounted to two large aluminum I-beam cross members one forward and one rear. It has sufficient weight so the cables do not get slack in them. There is no keel support, too many thru hulls.
