Congratulations. I think I know that boat. It was the "Banshee" owned by JW Widemayer (not sure of last name spelling). It was his Dad's before JW got it. I looked at her awhile ago--he sold it either last year or th year before. Banshee spent alot of time out at OC, and wintered here at the marina next to me. If you want to talk about her, give me a call. 410-643-2540 (home).

Nice looking boat. Lots of luck.

By the way, I see from your subject title, it looks liky you are a very smart man by taking the high rode and named it after your wife.

If thats not your wife's name no need to explain to us.

Enjoy

Tony- It is my 2 year old daughters name. Trust me, my wife loves her more than me, LOL. I met my daughter when she was six months old after a little stay oversees in the desert. We were in Hawaii and the first thing I did was have her out on the water in my 25 Bertram. She absolutely loves being out on the water so my boats will always be named after her and it definitely makes the wife happy.
IRguy- I really appreciate the offer. I will definitely be in touch and if everything goes as planned I will be cutting inside just south of you on Saturday around lunch to get gas and then head down river and out just south of the cape for Charleston by dark. I will give you a call for some advice on navigating through your area.

Thanks,

ANDY

Bob Lico....

Thanks for the kind words, but i don't think I am any different than the rest of the people here...

Example... Two years ago I asked in this forum, for a friend who was delivering a boat, if I could get any info on negotiating Shinnecock Inlet.. several regs here responded with great info.. but what floored me was a note from Brewster, offering to meet my friend outside the inlet and personally escort him through. What more can you ask of someone?

What comes around goes around.. we all play in the same sandbox.. and it is nice to share whatever you have with the other kids!

Made it to Savannah. My intent was Jacksonville but after a 12 hour drive thursday night to Virginia Beach, step on the boat crank her up and 210NM miles and 10 hours later we were in Moorehead city very tired. Then the 210NM mile run to Charleston and a little 4 July partying. We decided to make Sunday a half day run down to Savannah and call it good for this past weekend. I am crossing my fingers but so far not a single hick-up on the boat. Not even a clogged fuel filter or any oil usage (I am just waiting for something to break though). I will be keeping the boat part time at the AirForce base marina(save $$$$) in Panama City, FL. and the other in Orange Beach, AL.
Frank- Thanks again!

Andy...

Thanks for the call the other day, and I am glad your trip was so uneventful.. delivery trips have the potential to reveal problems.. it sounds as if Annie C is in great shape.

Keep posting here and let us know how things go.. and one other thing..

Thank you for your service to our country!
