Buddy Hackett was one of the last of the old time vaudeville style comedians. Adult humor, but never any foul language, never made fun of anyone except himself and his friends. He was every man's comedian. He could make everybody laugh. I can't think of anyone like that today.

Doug

I watched all of those guys for hours on end......for years.

I especially liked Johnathan Winters........at the end of his program he had a 5 minute impromptu segment.......hilarious! ! !

Sometimes I miss those days.

I have a DVD of old Ed Sullivan program clips......Beatles, Rolling Stones, Elvis, Topo Gigo, Hermans Hermits......and the list goes on.

I also have a full set of the Little Rascals DVD's.........tried to entertain my grandchildren with the Little Rascals shows......they were not even remotely interested.........hell......I laugh just like I have never seen them before.

Harry,

I'm with ya on that Harry, JW could have you rolling on the floor with his facial expressions telling jokes. Those guys are the true comedian's.

He was a good offshore Fisherman, too. Fished the Cayman Islands Million Dollar Month regularly and must have been a riot to spend a day out on the water with.
