Dug and I did a scan of the RI sites a few weeks back, and came up with Point Judith Marina as the best RI option for this years NE Rendevous. Have comminicated with Walter and he is on board. I forwarded to Patrick a set of slides that show the overview on the location, and he will establish a link at some point to show the location in more detail. Best date would be the weekend of Aug 8th as it is a RI holiday, so more of the locals will be out, leaving more slips open (VJ day - Monday holiday in RI, only state that still celebrates it.)

Pt. Judith is definitely my vote. Plus there is a Bertram dealer on site. Never hurts... But it looks like it hits most of our desires, and is a great central location.

Pt Judith seems like a good place. If you don't mind, I'll mention this on the 33 site.

Spoke with PJM today. They are open to both the weekend of Aug 8th and Aug 1. May be an issue with getting the Lobster bake for the weekend of Aug 8th, so we may need to push back 1 week if we want that option. I'll keep everyone posted.

August 1st is good and Pt Judith sounds good. Montauk on August 1st is better.
My batteries are in, boat bottom painted so I'm ready to start the season. This will be my tenth yr. And, man, what a ride!
