Hey Guys,

Remind me of the product that you use to treat the brown Formica in the cabin. One product is Penetrol, and the other is something "Gold". I haven't kept as good of a file as some of you guys. Thanks!

Penatrol works great and lasts months.

Tommy--

Penetrol is the only way to go. It is available at any store that sells paint,
since it is a paint additive. Just dampen a rag with it and wipe in on.
It may take several applications depending on the condition of the formica.

Tommy,
Scotts Liquid Gold is what you want, you can get it at Lowes or any major hardware store, comes in spray or liquid. I been using it for 31 years on the interior brown Formica and the teak trim of my 1961 express. It doesn't have the petrol smell of penatrol, it's around $ 6.00 a can.

Try Orange Glo from Home Depot. A lot of cabinet makers use this stuff.
