Beautiful...and I'm sitting here in MD hoping its gets into the 30s tomorrow so that I won't be quite as cold as last weekend when I worked on my boat.....but I am off to Ft. Myers and Key West next weekend.

Thanks Guys.

John I am back up here now too. I live in Jersey it is pretty cold after being in that warm weather. We have some snow on the ground. I am ready to go back. But, florida would be a nice compromise lol

Beautiful pics of beautiful fish. We did that with flyrods last year. The most exciting fishing experiences of my life! Those pacific sails just put on the most spectacular shows! Congratulations! Walter

Thanks Walter. I brought my flyrod but never took it out of the case this time. We did get most (90%) of the 30 plus sails for the week on 16 and 20lb test. One was on 12 but it was a big fish and got to tried. She made it but it took along time to revive her. So, I stopped that. Not there to hurt them. Keeping it fun.

Nice shots. Are you headed to the AC Show? If I don't have to work, I am trying for Saturday. My wife's sister and her family want to join us.

With a good crew it is surprisingly easy to tease them right to the stern of the boat, then toss a gaudy pink fly beyond them. Pop it once or twice and they hit it going away. If you ever do it again, I would recommend not going with the IGFA 20 lb tippet for the exact reason you stopped. Use a 30 b. Enjoy the incredible experience of a 100 lb sail on a flyrod, but get it in and release it in good condition. Walter

Hi Tony,

Not sure yet. I will try to let you know. Talked to the wife about it but still waiting for a response.

Walter, I have had the pleasure to get both the Atlantic and Pacific sails. Great time everyone should try it. I just got to lazy this trip. Spent most of the time running the boat so our crew could rest. I am actually looking for a small blue. We had some excellent marlin fishing two weeks before my arrival with up to 8 shots a day but it shut down before I arrived. I brought it just in case it turned back on but never happened. We saw two marlin all week and they wouldn't even look at a live blue runner. go figure! Thanks for the advice though, always appreciated!

I will look for you on Saturday. Hopefully I don't have to work. Seems to be a weekend habit the past few months.
