New Orleans ????

Will be spending next week in New Orleans with Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief helping to rebuild. Anyone recommend a few good (reasonably priced) restaurants around the French Qtr. We have eaten at Cafe Pereo the last several trips and loved the food & prices, but I wanted to offer the group other options.

My favorite place is the Bon Ton on Mazazine St. between Canal and Poydras.....mostly a lawyer & judge lunch place but serve a an early dinner. Be careful in the city, the murder rate is no joke.

Fortunately were not staying downtown, although I'm not sure the 9th ward is any better from what I seem to remember about last year. Thanks guys for the suggestions.
