What about a plastic tank? are baffles necessary

Guys--I have been doing some looking and have found a source for a 150 gal plastic tank--- Marine nmma and abyc Apprvd. It does not have baffles--my question---how necessary are the baffles? Will I see a big difference without them? Also---Has anyone installed one like this---I am looking at a v bottom and was wondering the proper install
