Oil Coolers ZF Transmission

I have ZF gears that are going to go behind B series cummins.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the cummins B series require an external oil cooler for the crankcase oil.
I have a brand new pair of oil coolers that I was going to use for the ZF Transmissions.
I am just a little confused about the engine oil needing cooling in addition to the transmissions. I know the cummins has an oil cooler mounted internally but is that enough?
Also, do the oil coolers need to be special since the ZF ar higher pressure than standard borg-warner style coolers?
