OK, it's been a while since I added a new boat building tip, and while not being of earth shaking stature, here's one that may make life more plesant for some of you...

Most likely I will never need to fill a chaulk gun with resin or chaulk for that matter...but I do fill the occasional grease gun and yup that would be much easier then the way I do it....and a whole lot neater too!
Man...the mess I can make with a gallon of grease and a refillable grease gun is mind staggering. The only bigger mess I am capable of is actually using chaulk or heaven forbid a chaulking gun.
Thanks for the tip.

Fold over the tip twice and clamp it off so that the mix doesn't start coming out prematurely

Capt Pat: Great idea... Being a bricklayer.. we stole that idea also ...grout bag... sometimes known as grouch bag, after using it all day to put joints in flatwork... works wonders on your grip too.
Good one for grease gun filling too . havent tried that yet.

It's here in the Hill Country... No rain, other than a slight chance of drizzel, but damned cold, least by my standards. Reached 81º here yesterday, woke up to 34º this morning, with a projected high of 38º. I'm goin' back to bed....
