I got invited to fish on my friends boat in Cabo San Lucas a couple of weeks ago. The boat is normally in Los Angeles. It is a 1985 54 Bertram. My good friend is the captain for the owners (great people, real fishermen, and great times). We loaded up the outstanding striped marlin action on the pacific side. The next day we went looking for something bigger. Well we found it.

The Blue Marlin went 510lbs on the scale in Cabo.

Stoked!!

Bertrams get Bit!

If anyone can help me post the images on this site I would greatly appreciate that.

We release all the stripe marlin we catch. The first day we released about a dozen. This fish was close to the boat record and will be eaten. It was my largest blue marlin to date and real joy to catch with friends on our own boat.
