Crown & Mexican Coke.

The "Made in Mexico" Coke is made with sugar cain, ours is made with corn syrup. The sugar cain formula is the Coke most of you guys grew up with in the 40's 50's & 60's.

Coke USA changed the formula in the late 60's. The Mexicans kept the sugar cain Coke and it is much sweeter=better with Crown.

A hand ful of our stores down here carry the made-in-mexico cokes as a speciality. I can keep it at the house, I'll down a six pack a day! Look for Coke in a glass bottle, with henco-e-mexico stamped on the bottom.

a few of them hench-e-mexico Cokes, and Randall's bottle of Havana Club, a few key limes, ice, and a premium(?la anniversaro??) Padron cigar.
I'll take the dirty looks, its worth it.

Those Firefly's are alot tougher to count after about 4-5 of those John Daly's or was that Fussy Zoellner saying something about those big tits, sheep are a little easier to count, BAAAA!

Cruzan Dark Rum (2YR) aged & Mexican Coke or USA Coke or Diet Coke or punch are all great. The ST. Thomas/ Virgil Islands special cold medicine and party drink of islands.

JP's my witness on this.

for you rum-and-Coke fans, try this...
find a bottle of Bermuda black rum, I think it's labled Black Seal...
and vanilla Coke...
a very different rum-and-Coke that may not be for everyone or anyone all the time, but it's different.

think I just got a dirty look...
still worth it!

I'm a big fan of the dark-an-stormy as well.

Another good 'un is Bacardi Anejõ, or Bacardi 8 with Ting (Jamaican grapefruit soda) and a little nutmmeg on top.
I know, sounds weird, but it's real damn good.

I remember a year or so ago people making a big deal over some limited edition Coke-a-cola that was made the old way.

I never did get a chance to try one out, I now drink diet anyhow, the sugar kills my stomach. But I can eat a pound of cookies- go figure?

Right now im off cocktails and beer, lost my taste for any of it. Last time this happened I went 4 years without a drop of any of it.

My late father-in-law's favorite for camp porch sipping was Delaware Punch and John Handy Scotch...Handy was about $2.56 a fifth as I recall. We done been there and done that with the Dark & Stormys at a few UVIs....also don't forget the Fatal Shot from South Africa....still have a bottle in the camp freezer...

JP,
Going for the low carb cocktail, it looks like. I'm getting boredwith the Bacardi Silver and diet Coke...so, I'm giving yours a try. Thanks for the recipe.
Raybo,
Don't worry, I've been picking up your slack for the last four years.
