Bruce,
In cases like this, it's usually one of three things: ingnorance: they don't have the sense to know that they got a 1st-class installation job; apathy: they don't care that they got a 1st-class job; self-centered: they are so self-absorbed that they can only see themselves.

I have similar experiences on a regular basis! Allyou can do is hope for the first two senarios and count on the third.
A fourth possibility would be they were so amazed they were speechless!!
Fat chance. The world is full of unappreciative idiots. If it helps at all, "Hey Bruce, nice job!"

Par for the course Ol' Buddy...
The two best things about it: The money's in your pocket and the boat is gone! Take a well earned break & raise the new garage. Don't forget to send me the images.

Mikey,
The acolades, or lack there of don't bother me at all. Its part of surviving the service business.
The biggest part was just getting rid of it.
The owner and boat were like a bad case of the minature farm animals.
Bob,
I can't take all the credit. Boat didn't have a house or cabin for wind drag. Center console with a pipe 1/2 tower.
But I did tweak 3 blade props and injector pump. Owner had been hounding me to make sure he did 25 knots from day one. I was just hedging my bets.
