We found my friends 31 FB, about 2ft of the bridge showing, 200 yards from her berth.

Thats a tough one. Looks like a real mess down there. Were all those boats on dry land and they blew over or did the storm surge take them there?

All the boats were in their slips, there is no hard storage in view of that picture. I originally did not think that was his Bertram, because his has a radar arch. When I walked over to the exposed portion of the FB I could see the the arch bent over, under water....sick feeling when you realize a really nice 31 was down there.

This is the pier where the Bertram was moored.

This is where the lucky ones ended up. About 200 yards north of the slips. Lots of boats, including the 31 did not make it far enough to find dry land.

Is it intact maybe?

Maybe it can be salvaged.

I know it is still screwed up but maybe there is a little hope.

Real shame. Hopefully it will float again one day and not wind up subject to a chain saw.

Hopefully the hull is good shape. If so, someone will bring it back to life.
