Bottom Paint Question?

I pulled my boat today because of Gustav, the bottom paint is traditional hard modified epoxy (Interlux bottom cote), in very good condition (3 months old).

How long can the boat stay on the hard without damaging the paint's anti-fouling capacity?....Hanna is behind Gustav!

Scot-

It should say on the can of paint. I used Petit Trinidad for years--started at about $80/gallon, but once it hit $200+ gallon I decided to try something else. For the last 2 seasons I've used the Boaters World Hard Paint, which was $50 gallon after the mail-in rebate or gift card. Its worked fine. Just a thought. I know Interlux ain't cheap.

Hope everyone makes out OK

John,

I ran short of the Interux and finished the job with the WE$T Marine hard modified epoxy @ $100 p/gal. I "believe" the WE$T stuff is made by Petit, all instruction, directions, Q&A ph #'s, etc. listed on the can refered to Petit.
