Cummis overhaul manuals

I would like to purchase a set of service/overhaul manuals for the 6bta mechanical engines. I guess I can get them directly from Cummins, but haven't tried yet. Have any of you bought them, how good are they, and what should I expect to pay? I am bidding on a set on E-bay, but the set is dated, and I don't know the value.
