You guys following this world record attempt?
They came thru San Diego last month..
Its the second time theyve tryed.. Last time a third storm damaged the hull.
I saw the boat in Newport the last attempt.
The maps are cool. You can follow real time...
They hit a LOG OR SOMETHING LAST WEEK & ARE STILL AHEAD OF THE OLD RECORD AS OF NOW THEYRE RUNNIN AGAIN.
CUMMINS POWER W/ zf... usin veggie oil I think.
They even lipoed the skipper for a fueling.
They ran a couple days on one engine after the log strike..not good for overpropping(runnin 100s miles on one).
Think there running on 2 now.
