Prop removal and reconditioning

Looking for a little advice;
Have some vibration on one shaft....and have one prop with a small ding in it, so adding things up believe it is the culprit.Thus I want to remove the props and have them "trued" up.
??? Should I expect both shafts to be std threads, or is it normal that one side has reverse threads???
Prop truing in the north east. I heard Essex Machine works was good, but the web link I found for them takes me to a porn site?? (for real).... (havn't tried the phone number yet, but am a little worried as to what Iwill get.) Any suggestions on who is good,reliable, and reasonable in the NE region.
Any feedback is welcome...Thanks
Giff

Giff,
Most likely both of your shaft are RIGHT HAND thread. It was a practice a lot of years ago to thread the Starboard shaft with LEFT HAND threads.....I have not seen a left hand threaded shaft in years.........
I say both of your shafts are RIGHT HAND thread.
Now...as for the Porn site.........are you sure????? Better forward the link so we, the FAITHFUL, can confirm your findings. LOL

Giff,
I have used H&H Propellor and they have been great.
Boston Boat show starts up this weekend. H&H will be there, as will New England Propellor. Both are good houses. I buy my zincs from NE every year.

We've been to Scituate a few times. What a beautiful New England town. It's out of a picture book.

I'm in a parallel industry and have been watching them move in this direction for a while. Interesting, to me anyway, as they incorporate more facitlities and capabilities.

Huh? A parallel industry as in before they went to where the money is or a parallel industry where the money is?

I can strongly recommend Ocean Prop in R.I. (I think in Middleton) They are one of the oldest Propscan franchises in the country.
